LIVE YOUR WILDEST FRIESIAN DREAM

These wonderful friesian stallions come from a renowned breeding facility. These are not your typical school horses! These young stallions are sweet and well trained, but are also very powerful. For this reason, we can only accept experienced riders. Each person will be matched with a horse according to their level and preference.

There will be a maximum of 8 riders per group.

The weight limit requirement is 100kg

The pricing shown per person is all inclusive for your riding holiday, with the exception of international flights and airport transfers.

The accommodation is in a lovely family hotel by the sea, only a 3-minute drive from the stables and a 5 min walk to the nearby town, San Carlos de la Rapita, which hosts two large marinas, a beach, a market and many shops and restaurants. Each guest will have a room with a terrace offering sea views. The rooms are equipped with a private bathroom, air conditioning, a TV, and free Wi-Fi. The hotel restaurant provides a buffet breakfast and three-course meals with wine for our guests.

Accompanying non-riders: Our guests are welcome to bring along non-riding companions. The price for non-riders is €700.

Please be aware that we may not always guarantee space in the car for non-riders to join trips to the stables.

Day 1 - Friday: ARRIVAL & WELCOME DINNER

Join us as we kick off the adventure on Friday. Arrive for our welcome check-in from 3PM, and if you're up for it, a rejuvenating yoga session awaits at 5:30 PM. This will prepare your muscles for your first ride the following day. At 8 PM, join us for a kick-off dinner - a meet and greet filled with the opportunity to learn a few Spanish words and chat about our upcoming adventure on our dreamy friesian stallions. You will be served a delicious dinner of traditional Spanish cuisine featuring locally sourced products.

Day 2 - Saturday:

Begin your day with a nourishing breakfast at the hotel before meeting the captivating Friesian horses and the yard. A transfer will be organized to take you to the stables, where you'll embark on a facility tour and be paired with a horse based on your experience and preferences. Groom, saddle, and bridle your horse- a wonderful opportunity to capture stunning photos if you wish. You will have your first dressage lesson (in small groups of 4 riders) where you will discover the Friesian horses' dynamic power and impressive strides.

After a satisfying lunch at the hotel, the afternoon springs to life with a special yoga session with Sara, our yoga teacher, on how to improve your seat. This will then be followed by a second dressage class. Shower your horse after the session and observe others in the group riding. As the day winds down, we'll transfer you back to the villa where you will enjoy a well-deserved dinner.

Day 3 - Sunday:

Begin your morning with a hearty breakfast followed by an exciting lesson with a twist! The rest of the day? Leave it to us to surprise you with some activities! Clues are: horses, food, and getting to know the surroundings! The day culminates with a delicious dinner, setting the stage for dreams as we anticipate the next day’s beach ride!

Day 4 - Monday: BEACH RIDE (weather permitting) & DEPARTURE

An early morning sunrise stepping into the enchantment of a beach riding escapade at Delta del Ebro. Imagine 10 majestic friesian stallions cantering down the extensive shoreline. Witness the horses' adoration for the sea as they playfully dip their feet in the water. This memory will be etched forever! After the beach ride, we return the horses to the stables and proceed to the hotel to have lunch before check-out.

For your convenience, check-out time ranges from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, ensuring a smooth transition for guests catching late afternoon and evening flights.

We recommend you to fly to Barcelona airport (BCN) on the Friday (preferably you can take a flight arriving early afternoon so you can get to the retreat in time for the welcome drinks at 5pm)

You have two options for getting to the hotel once you arrive at the airport:

1. Either rent a car and drive to the hotel in Sant Carles de la Ràpita—it's about a 2-hour drive.

2. Or take a bus directly from the airport terminal to the bus station in Sant Carles de la Ràpita. We can pick you up from the bus station and take you to the hotel. Most people choose this option, but if you prefer more flexibility or plan to explore the area after the retreat, renting a car might be better. 

For the bus option: buses run frequently throughout the day (about every hour). They're very convenient, cost around 20-30 EUR each way, and take approximately 2.5 hours.

We’ve also set up a WhatsApp group for all the guests attending that week. It’s a great way to coordinate logistics, such as sharing a car or taking the same bus.

For the return flight: We recommend booking a late afternoon/evening flight for your return on Monday. Remember, the magical beach ride is in the morning that same day!
